IN THE MIDST
OF IT ALL
At the center of our United States, we are North Central Kansas. From our Flint Hills to the High Plains, we are a panorama of river valleys, rolling grass lands, wheat fields, vast prairies, meandering creeks, jutting lime stone bluffs, and amazing rock formations. Here the westward trails of our pioneer ancestors meet those of the Native American.
You will find clean air, museums, antique stores, military forts, historic trails, rodeos, festivals, unique geological formations, large lakes, wide open spaces, world famous sunsets, and some of the best hunting and fishing in the nation. This part of Kansas offers you a wide variety of community events, friendly people, dining experiences, fields of golden grain and bright yellow sunflowers with signature grain elevators silhouetted against wide open skies.
Whether the land is shimmering under brilliant sunshine, drenched by summer rains, buffeted by brisk western winds, or lying serenely under a carpet of prairie grass and wild roses, North Central Kansas is the place to travel to and explore and have fun "IN THE MIDST OF IT ALL".
